Delivery of 323 industrialised bathrooms to Urbania for the Bcome Pamplona student residence for finalised

The works at the new Bcome student residence in Pamplona are in their final stretch after the arrival of the 323 bathroom units industrialised by The Prototipo Company. This is undoubtedly an important step because as these are pre-manufactured, their incorporation will reduce construction time by 3.5 months.

The bathrooms are made up of modular elements that incorporate thermal and acoustic insulation and a waterproof coating, and allow for the integration of all essential bathroom elements. In addition, new features have been added that improve the performance of these components, such as the electrical panel of each room.

For this project, The Prototipo Company designed and produced a full-scale bathroom prototype, adapted to this project in terms of dimensions, facility optimisation, structure and rigidity.

The 323 units were manufactured in series by starting from a 3D prototype and optimising production processes. This industrialised processing model has contributed to improving sustainability with a 40% reduction in on-site waste, as well as greater safety and coordination during construction. All this while maintaining the strict quality standards required by industrial construction.

The entire process, from design to delivery, was completed in 3 months.

Bcome Pamplona is a new university residence in Pamplona with 312 rooms. It is located in the heart of the university area, very close to the Public University of Navarra and its sports facilities as well as the UNED campus, and less than 2 km from the University of Navarra campus.
